Meaning of the Readings

These readings help you understand your results more clearly. They are estimated indicators for health education only, not a medical diagnosis or a final nutrition plan.

BMR Basal Metabolic Rate

An estimate of the energy your body needs at rest to maintain essential vital functions such as breathing, blood circulation, and body temperature regulation.

  • It does not represent your full daily calorie needs.
  • It does not include movement, exercise, or work activity.
  • It is used as a starting point to estimate daily energy needs.

TDEE Estimated Daily Energy Needs

An estimate of the calories your body needs throughout the day after adding your activity level to your basal metabolic rate.

  • It is close to maintenance calories.
  • It depends on how accurately the activity level is selected.
  • It is used to estimate calories for weight loss or weight gain when a goal is selected.

BMI Body Mass Index

A general indicator that relates weight to height and gives an initial idea about underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obesity in adults.

  • It does not distinguish between muscle and fat.
  • It may be misleading in athletes or people with high muscle mass.
  • Children and adolescents require a different method of assessment.

WHtR Waist-to-Height Ratio

An optional reading that helps understand fat distribution around the waist compared with height. It may be useful alongside BMI to provide a clearer picture.

  • It requires accurate waist circumference measurement.
  • A higher value may indicate higher central fat.
  • It should not be used alone to diagnose a health condition.

AJBW Adjusted Body Weight

Usually appears when obesity is present. It is a supporting estimate that may be used in some nutrition calculations instead of relying only on current body weight.

  • It does not mean the ideal target weight.
  • It is used as a supporting number in some professional estimates.
  • It is best interpreted within an individual assessment.

Water Daily Water

An estimated range for daily fluid needs, not a fixed number suitable for every case.

  • Needs increase with heat, sweating, and exercise.
  • It may need adjustment in some kidney or heart conditions.
  • In precise assessment, it includes total fluid intake, not water only.

Goal Goal Calories

Goal calories only appear when you select a goal, such as maintaining weight, losing weight, gaining weight, or supporting sports performance.

  • Maintenance is usually close to TDEE.
  • Weight loss depends on a gradual calculated deficit.
  • Weight gain or sports performance requires a calculated surplus or targeted support.

Macros Macros

Macros are an approximate distribution of calories between protein, fat, and carbohydrates when a goal is selected.

  • Protein supports satiety and muscle mass.
  • Fat is essential for hormones and absorption of some vitamins.
  • Carbohydrates are an important energy source, especially with activity.

Note When Do You Need an Individual Assessment?

Some cases should not rely only on a calculator, because nutritional needs vary according to health condition, lab results, medications, and lifestyle.

  • Severe obesity or obvious underweight.
  • Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and chronic diseases.
  • Advanced sports goals or digestive disorders.
